Welcome to the St. Mark’s Booster Club!

Over St. Mark’s 61-year history, the success of all our events has been due, in large part, to the generosity and time given by our St. Mark's parents/guardians. SML could not continue to achieve its important goals or maintain the excellent quality of education without help from our community of families. Just by enrolling your child at St. Mark’s, you join this amazing Booster Club. No sign-up or special forms needed – you're in!

Booster Club Meeting Schedule

The St. Mark’s Booster Club meets the first Thursday of each month at 8:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall. One hour of Family Commitment is given for attendance. Taking part in these meetings can help make SML an even better place for our students and their families. By working together, we can truly make this the best school year ever! Come and get involved at St. Mark’s today!

St. Mark's Lutheran School Booster Club Mission Statement

Our mission, first and foremost, is to be ambassadors of St. Mark's by promoting Christian values and upholding positive attitudes while serving our Booster Club's three main purposes:

1

To recognize and show appreciation to our teachers and staff for their dedication and commitment to our students.

2

To uphold and support our entire St. Mark's community, including teachers, staff, students, and their families, uniting all and building a lasting camaraderie.

3

To raise additional funds so that St. Mark's can continue to grow, improve, and even exceed its current standard of excellence by providing everyone an opportunity to be involved and making our fundraising efforts a positive experience.

The St. Mark's Boosters shall not seek to direct the technical activities of the school or control its policies. It is our sole mission to carry out the above purposes with a positive, Christian spirit.

Opportunities To Get Involved

There are several ways for parents/guardians to get involved at St. Mark’s. From serving as a member of the Booster Board to chairing a school event to becoming a room parent, the SML families are welcomed and encouraged to get involved in the life of the school.

Some of the events that parents/guardians can participate in are: the Fall Carnival, the annual Silent Auction, acting as Room Parent or Assistant Room Parent, assisting with the class Christmas parties, volunteering at Fun & Fitness Day, working at the Book Fairs, taking part in the Staff Appreciation Tea, and joining the Parent Prayer Group that meets each Friday morning.

Not only will parents/guardians earn Family Commitment hours, but they will receive the opportunity to build healthy relationships with other families in the SML community. St. Mark’s is truly an amazing school, but with your help, it can be even better! Check out these chances to get involved during the 2024-2025 school year Booster Calendar.
