St. Mark’s Annual Giving Campaign
The Annual Giving Campaign started in 2008 with a goal of raising funds for a longer, sustainable period throughout the academic year. Over the past 16 years, St. Mark’s families, staff members, church congregation, and alumni have graciously contributed to the Annual Giving Campaign, which has financed campus improvements such as:
- Installing Solar Panels
- Converting the Classroom ActivBoards to Smart TVs
- Repaving the Main Parking Lot
- Adding Touchless Water Bottle Refill and Handwashing Stations
- Upgrading the Kindergarten Playground
- Increasing Bandwidth
- Purchasing Additional Student iPads
- Licensing New Tech Software and Apps
- Completing Various Campus Beautification Tasks
And now, we are embarking on an exciting journey at St. Mark's... We are constructing a new 11,000 square foot building, which will house 11 classrooms and an additional set of restrooms! This facility will be located where the upper basketball courts/playground area is and will be replacing the portables. Once the new building is complete, the portables will be removed and a new 1st-4thgrade playground area will be developed in their place. Every Kindergarten-8th grade student will utilize these new rooms as the K-8th Art Room, 5th-8th Religion Classroom, three 2nd Grade, three 3rd Grade, and three 4th Grade Classrooms will be in this structure.
We know that this is a HUGE undertaking, but we are all in! The proceeds from our Annual Giving Campaign, Silent Auction in February, and inaugural Golf Tournament in April will be directly benefitting this new building project. Together, we can “build dreams” and “build futures” here at SML!
